A great southerly view from the top of Stony Mountain, State Game lands 211, Lebanon County, PA.

South View is accessible from a blazed yellow trail that intersects the Sand Spring Trail at N40 29.488 W76 38.415. The Sand Spring Trail is blazed blue and intersects the Appalachian Trail on Sharp Mountain at N40 29.145 W76 38.190. There's a sign to South View at the head of the Yellow trail. The viewpoint itself isn't much to look at, just a thin vertical rock outcrop. Fortunately, the rock opens a hole in the trees that provides a nice vista over the valley below.
