The grounds are wonderfully landscaped. The church won the August 2008 Keep Kingsport Beautiful Award in its category. A crepe myrtle with large magenta blooms decorate the front of the property. Also present are barberries, dogwoods, evergreens, a butterfly bush, and daylilies. A large prayer labyrinth is featured behind the church. A row of tall, ornamental grass gives a sense of peacefulness and privacy.
