This skatepark is located in Nose Creek Park on the west side of Airdrie. It is always open and there are pretty well always kids in the area when school is not in session. The park is maintained by the city parks and recreation board.
Talking with the kids in the area there doesn't seem to be any regulations on safety equipment although most of them do wear something. Most of the equipment in the park is movable so the kids can shape it to their desire. The one exception is a 2 step concrete step that is permanently fixed in place.
