This unique statue representing justice is located in historic downtown Shreveport, Louisiana.

It is unique as the statue and entire apparatus is a giant “Sundial.” Looking closely at the end of the long “Beam” you can see the Roman Numeral letters in the floor. It all is located at the United States Court House in the historic downtown area at the north corner of the intersection of Fannin and Edwards Streets. The artist was R. J. Caskey and was cast at the New Arts Foundry in Baltimore, Maryland.
