This caboose is on the end of the narrow gauge passenger train pulled by a steam engine at the Huckleberry Railroad in Crossroads Village in Flint, MI.

According to a fellow group member this particular caboose, the Huckleberry 0776 was once a part of the Coahuila y Zacatecas Railway in Mexico. Thanks caboose9.

For the past thirty-two years during the spring and summer this train does an eight mile loop, much to the delight of the local children. It takes approximately forty-five minutes for it to complete its run, and departs every hour while the park is open. So, if you go looking for this caboose, you won't have long to wait.

It's called the Huckleberry Railroad because back when it ran much more than just an eight mile loop, it ran so slow you could hop off and pick huckleberries and jump back on. They don't let you do that these days.

Usually in August, they have a visit from "Thomas the Tank Engine", and he pulls the train all weekend long. This year, we got to ride in the caboose! The Huckleberry Railroad also has a run during the Halloween and Christmas seasons. Coordinates are for the depot. Have your tickets ready!
