Two main areas, totalling about 3200 acres and 90 miles of trails/jeep roads also have camping and picnic facilities. Vehicles can be operated from sunrise to sunset only. If your vehicle gets stuck or breaks down, you are responsible for removing it.
In accordance with state resource management guidelines, this park implements measures to protect riparian habitat, control erosion, suppress dust, and monitor wildlife health. Surprisingly for an OHV park, there is a Natural Reserve area and some relatively peaceful walking paths above the camping sites in the Lower Ranch area.
