I was unable to find out much information about this capsule. I assume from where it is placed that it was placed by citizens of Whitfield County Georgia. It was placed May 22, 1976 and is due to be opened on May 22, 2006. This should be interesting in that the information in this capsule is pre 2001 the year our country changed forever.
The surrounding area is filled with patriotic symbols and reflects the great citizens of Whitfield County Georgia and their commitment to our country.
