Here is the Armoury building that from 1905 to 1954 was the home of The 24th Kent Regiment, which in 1954 was amalgamated with The Essex Scottish Regiment and redesignated The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment. Since 1965 it has housed C Company of The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment.
currently it has been undecided just what this impressive building will be used for.
