Description of Memorial:
Central flag pole, around which turn four tilted stone stands, upon which resides a bronze plaque for each conflict, listing the men and women lost by branch of service and military specialty.
Monticello is the county seat, and is a very, vary small town on top of a steep sided hill.
A Masonic Lodge is on the road coming into town, erected in the early 1800 and still in use as the lodge. A gazebo is at the cross roads with the road in and the highway, covering the bell of a church remember fondly by past members.
