[FR] Le musée archéologique départemental du Val-d'Oise est situé à Guiry-en-Vexin, village du Vexin français, à 50 km environ au nord-ouest de Paris.
Il présente de façon chronologique dans ses onze salles réparties sur deux niveaux le résultat des fouilles archéologiques du département, soit plus de 35 000 objets, monnaies, bijoux, poteries, sculptures, outils agricoles, datant du paléolithique au Moyen Âge. Il conserve la plus importante collection de stèles mérovingiennes de France.
Édifié à partir de 1980 et inauguré en 1983, il succède au petit musée archéologique de Guiry, situé dans la mairie. Situé au centre du village, face au château, il présente une architecture contemporaine sobre, bien intégrée au site.

[EN] The departmental archeological museum of Val-d'Oise is situated in Guiry-en-Vexin, 50 km north west of Paris.
It presents, in a chronologically progression, through 11 rooms on two levels, the results of the archeological excavations in the department, including more than 35,000 objects, coins, jewelry, potery, sculpture, argicultural tools, dating from the paleolithic to the Middle Ages.
Construction began in 1980 with inauguration in 1983. It replaced the small archeological museum of Guiry, located in the town hall. Located in the center of the village, across from the Chateau, the architecture is modern and discrete, and well integrated into the site.
