This Spanish moss-laden cemetery is the meeting place for the Amelia Island Museum of History's Ghost Tours. Sometimes when people take pictures in places known to be haunted, white spots called "orbs" appear.

One story tells about Maj. William Duryee, his wife, Amelia, and the haunted mirror.

After Amelia Duryee died, her ashes were returned to Fernandina to be buried beside her husband in St. Peter's cemetery. Church employees temporarily placed the ashes at the foot of a mirror William Duryee had donated - and the next morning, it had a huge crack.

Skillful storytellers trace the steps of those that have gone before and convincingly relate the stories of some of the town's ghostly inhabitants.
