This interesting water tower was built in 2004 to supply water to the park housing and campsite of the Andrew Molera State Park along the scenic Big Sur coast.

You can approach this tower either from Andrew Molera State Park (entrance fee), or park along the wide shoulder of Hwy 1. It's a short hike up to the tower, which is sorrounded by a cyclone fence topped with barbed wire.
