After entering the main area, which provides some seating for the humans in your group, canines can access the three fenced dog run areas. While containers are provided for "poop bags," they have been empty on our visits; however, if you bring your own, there are ample receptacles for trash as well as recycling beverage containers. Hours are dawn to 9 p.m. daily, but the park is closed for maintenance Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11-1. The City stresses that the park is intended for drop-in use only and permission is needed for organized activities.
Other rules include dogs wearing collars with id, being at least four months old, having current license and vaccine, not being in heat, and being accompanied by no more than 2 canine buddies and at least one human carrying a leash (while in the fenced areas).
