The architecture of the Library is done in the style of the Mississauga Civic Centre, and various TV Series (including Robocop) have used the facility for filming.

2008 Summer Hours
All locations of the Mississauga Library System will close on Friday evenings at 6 p.m. from May 23 to October 10, 2008. All branch library locations of the Mississauga Library System will close on Sundays from May 18 to October 12, 2008. The Mississauga Central Library continues to be open Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - except for holiday weekends.
