The beginning of an ambitious project for a granite mosaic mural depicting Oklahoma natives Will Rogers and Wiley Post. Only the bust of Rogers was completed before the project was canceled. Made up of 12" granite tiles, some carved with the contributor names, this mosaic is on display in southwest Oklahoma in the town of Granite where much of the state's granite rock was taken from quarries.
