Newhalem Campground is located adjacent to the North Cascades National Park Newhalem Visitor Center. The campground itself lies within the Ross Lake National Recreation Area.
There are not electric hook ups for RV's however, sites are spacious and there is a dump station at the campground. Flush toilets and running water, but no showers.
There are several trailheads located within the park for short interpretive trails, longer trails and even long distance hiking trails are nearby. The campground is walking distance to the small town of Newhalem and also to the North Cascades National Park Visitor Center. Close to both lake and river fishing and boating.
