The Ohio Memorial Shrine was dedicated in 1947 in memory of all Ohioans who have lost their lives in all wars and conflicts. It is located within Mohican State Park near Loudonville, Ohio.
The stained glass here depicts Ohio's state seal. The seal is only visible from the inside. It appears that the outside has been blocked off, likely to keep vandals from breaking it, and to protect it from the elements.
The shrine itself houses books with all of the names of those from Ohio who were killed in action. Several books with printed names are available to view, while the original books, which are hand hand-caligraphied can be seen in glass cases.
