The Prospect Inn occupies a site that has boasted an Inn since 1830. The building seen today was originally called the Fountain Inn. This Inn occupied the end of the Quay House and later absorbed the adjacent Rose Cottage as part of it's premises.
It is lively place especially on Friday and Saturday evenings not least because of it's viscinity to a few night clubs. During the summer its a great place just to sit around outside. It is also buzzing at other times. There is a good selection of beers on sale and you can get food until around 9 pm.
