Route 46, Gilwern, Wales - Cycling Routes on Waymarking.com

This stretch of Route 46 [1] is along the old Merthyr Tredegar & Abergavenny Railway[2]. Until recently much of this route was closed off and private property, but has recently been opened up as far as this point.

Further up the line (but sadly not on route 46 as it is moved onto the road) are two abandoned tunnels [3,4] that are interesting to visit

The nearest interconnecting route is 42, at Abergavenny
