24th Street in Yuma was widened in 1979. A private house behind the former Shell Station, now Pacific Pride, had their driveway cut in half. This church was moved by placing a frame under it and moving it on wheels approximately 100 feet to allow for the widening of the lanes. It was literally "picked up", moved over and set down in it's own parking lot. It was stuccoed, painted green (instead of its' original white) and a new parking lot was paved for the church. Original coordinates are: 32.41.029n; 114.37.572w. New coordinates are: 32.41.023n; 114.37.566.
