Long Description:
St. Sebastian is located next to St. Jakob's Church in Dachau. He is located above a memorial in honor of Dachau men who lost their lives fighting in two World Wars. This sculpture was designed by Munich sculptor Karl Kroher. The inscription in German translates to:

"To protect Dachau and you, the heroes went to battle. We offer them our thanksgiving. So great was their sacrifice."
