This is a beautiful and scenic nature trail which runs deep into the woods in the rear of this NRHP site, Barclay Farmstead. Recently, through generous and large grants, we were able to construct this interpretive trail and restore the farmhouse.

The posted coordinates are for the trailhead. In front of the playground you will see the trailhead map. This is the beginning of you adventure. There is a really nice wooden foot bridge which crosses a stream.

Is there a trail system?: Yes
If there is a trail system, please describe length, terrain, etc.: Trails are hard packed. Once over the bridge you have a choice of three directions. The rails extend throughout the entire wooded area and back again.
What points of interest are there?: The Cooper River winds its way through this trail system. There is one hiking bridge at the beginning of the trail when first entering the wood.
