Wilson County Properties, Inc. developed the Wilson Corporate Park, a 500-acre park along I-95 in western Wilson County, for economic growth to help diversify the county's economic portfolio, which had historically been almost exclusively tobacco farms.

The park is currently home to several large manufacturing corperations including Purdue Pharmaceuticals, Stock Window & Door, LiveDo, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Sandoz, and Cott Beverages.
