This sundial is mounted on a head stone like monument to the Zoar Welsh Congregational Church in the Zoar Cemetery. The marker is where the doors of the church were located. The marker also has a plaque to John E "CRYDD" Davis who donated the land for the church and the cemetery. The sundial has the inscription "I count none but sunny hours" on the face.
