I find this one unique (in my limited experience), in that rather than "Civil War" (as northerners refer to it), this monument calls it "The Great Rebellion."
On the front, in raised stone:
In memory of the volunteers from Derby who lost their lives
in the Great Rebellion of 1861-5."
The dead are listed by name on a metal plaque.
