The Gilbert family has a 60 year lease on the property of this cave home. Very popular in this area, there are many cave homes that can be seen while driving along. The family that I was visiting uses their home here not only for pleasure, but also for business. Luis Gilbert is a geologist/paleontologist studying a nearby site in Orce, for early man.
