The congregation that uses this historic church building had two used buildings before using the current building. During the civil war they used a log building and in the 1870's they built the original brick building. In 1908, the original brick building wad declared unsafe and the current building was built on the original church's foundation. In 1960, an educational unit and fellowship hall was added and the sanctuary was remodeled.
