"Erfahrbare Waende" is a memorial sculpture to remeber the union leaders Julius Birck, Emil Rentmeister, Michael Rodenstock and Johann Schloesser, who have been murdered here on 05-02-1933 by the Nazi regime.
"Erinnern lehrt Vorbeugen!" means "To Remember Teaches Prevention!"
Die Skulptur "Erfahrbare Waende" erinnert an die Gewerkschafter Julius Birck, Emil Rentmeister, Michael Rodenstock und Johann Schloesser, die hier am 20. Mai 1933 durch das Naziregime ermordet wurden.
