This Deer Weathervane sits on top of this Historic-Victorian Style Gothic Building was Built in 1884. Two years after the founding of the Cleveland Zoological Park. It was the first zoo building on the original site of the zoo at Wade Park on Cleveland's east side. It served as Deer Shelter (Hence the vane), Grainery and Zoo Keepers' Quarters.
Moved here and restored in 1970, this building is now used as an Ice Cream shop.
