Pierson Park Benchmark - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Recovered this US D.O.A./Forest Service Benchmark while ATVing in Pierson Park. I belive this is a reference mark disk as there are two bearing trees nearby. I'm led to believe that there are more disks in the area, but time to explore was not on our side this day. Only one of the trees took me right to this disk, but I found the disk before I found the trees.

This BM borders private property which is listed as a shooting range on the private property sign. I walked down to confirm that a homeowner up on a hillside has actually created a shooting range in this area.

You are safe to stand at this disk location, just do not wander onto the private land.
