Located on the southern part of West Main Street in West Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district. There is no cultural nor historical information available on this structure. The house is a little raggedy but still beautiful.. The roof needs some work. The off-centered porch is dynamite and there is a contributing structure plaque located on the front of the house. This building is numbered 8.
The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1890. Vernacular 2½-story, 3-register cross-gabled frame (now aluminum sided) house on stone foundation. Pedimented portico with butt shingled pent and Tuscan columns. Paneled door. 1/1 double hung windows with metal sills and lintels, paneled shutters on first floor, louvered on second floor, closed in gable. Dormers on sides with 1/1 double hung windows, 2-story tripartite bay. Shake shingle roof. 1-story rear addition. - Contributing.”
