The Imperial War Museum operates the HMS Belfast everyday (except Dec 24-26) to demonstrate the history of this vessel and the life the sailors led.
The HMS Belfast was used in patrols early in World War Two, then was a participant in the landings of D-Day on June 6, 1944 by providing bombardment support.
The HMS Belfast also saw conflict in the Korean War.
