MOHAWK; 2.7 MILES SOUTH & EAST (FROM THE JUNCTION OF US-41) ALONG THE MOHAWK-GAY ROAD, 0.05 M SE OF JUNCTION OF A GRAVEL ROAD SW (NOT SIGNED 2003) LEADING TO COPPER CITY, 21 FT SW OF THE C/L OF THE MOHAWK-GAY RD, 27 FT SE OF A DRIVE TO OLD DWELLING, ABOUT 1 FT BELOW LEVEL WITH THE ROAD AND FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. A USGS DISK IN 8-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE POST.

RECOVERED 11-28-2003 USING DGPS FROM INFO IN OLD USGS PAPER NOTES.
NOTE-MARK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GPS SURVEYING.
