The local portion of the Bike/Hike trail is built on an old rairoad bed. The path is paved and fairly flat and runs from Rotterdam Junction to the Corning Preserve in Albany (approx 37 miles).Its used for biking,hiking,jogging,dog walking,skating and there's even a Geocache or two thrown in along the way.
