Original Church was built in 1867. Its predecessor came along in 1886 and a new bell tower follow in 1890. The Church as it now stands was built in 1904 and the first service was held in 1905. The current bell tower still contains the 1890 bell. This congregation is proud of their church building as is apparent if you compare my picture of the plaque with the one on the website. Noticed that the letters have been polished back to a sparkling brass. Sadly it sounds like the three catholic parishes in the valley here may combine. This I understand is due to a lack of clergy, which is also why I believe the building is open only during worship times. If this consolidation occurs the fate of this church building's future is unknown.
