Croatian National Theater is located on the Marsal Tito Square in Zagreb, Croatia. Croatian National Theater in Zagreb was established in 1840. The current building of the theater was opened October 14, 1895. The authors of the building were well known Austrian architects Ferdinand Fellner and Herman Helmer, authors of about 40 other European theater buildings. The Croatian National Theater in Zagreb has seen many famous international artists such as: Franz Liszt, Sarah Bernhardt, Franz Lehar, Richard Strauss, Gerard Philipe, Vivian Leigh, Laurence Olivier, Jean Louis Berrault, Peter Brook, Mario Del Monaco, José Carreras and many others.
