The Djurgården ferries (Djurgårdsfärjan) serves Stockholm's inner harbour and is a part of the city's public transportation system. The route Slussen - Skeppsholmen - Allmänna gränd serves all year around.
The Djurgården ferries transports about 2,5 million passengers every year. The summer is the busiest time of the year and July is the most popular month. The Djurgården ferries can hold a maximum of 300 passengers.
All ferries are adapted for disabled persons so there are no problem disabled with wheel chairs to move about freely onboard.
The two terminals Slussen and Allmänna gränd are equipped with ramps so disabled can get onboard without a problem. The landning place Skeppsholmen is a set dock which can cause differences in height between dock and ferry. There is always a deck officer onboard that can help getting off and onboard.
