This American Legion Post is very well grounded thanks to the anchor on display out front. It sits a few feet from and central to the building, on the ground. The anchor is surrounded by concrete medallions representing our various armed forces.

This American Legion post is located inside a stand alone home from 1926. There two entrances. There is also a large memorial to the right called Artillery Park. Artillery Park memorial was added to the post grounds on December 7, 2000. It features two static artillery displays, one American and the other, German. There is a very nice plaque which details the non-specific war memorial and a stone marker which lists the names of two servicemen killed in World War II.

Although there is no specific website for this post, there are several references to it made on the internet. I can tell it is a vital part of the community and hosts many holiday activities.
