A very large boulder set in the middle of a small grassy park in the intersection of King George Ave and 4th Street SW - in the Old Southwest neighborhood of Roanoke VA. The large plaque (either bronze or copper) reads:

In honor of THE ROANOKE SOLDIERS who served in the World War.
