A gorgeous horsetail fall with small cascades just below the pool, along the road that follows the southern bank of the Quinault River. It is easily accessible from roadside turnouts on either side of the bridge.

To reach the falls, follow the South Shore Road about 4 miles east from the Lake Quinault Ranger Station. The falls will suddenly appear on the south side of the road when it crosses a small bridge. The area is completely in a grove of tall trees, so GPSr reception is poor, but that is not really needed to find the falls. There are short social trails on either side of the creek at the base of the falls; the east bank has steep rocks, and the west bank has a nice view of the small cascade below the falls.
