The Lotrscak Tower was built in the 13th century, between 1242 and 1266. The Tower was built to guard the southern gate Dverce of the Gradec town wall. The Lotrscak Tower is today one of the best preserved part of the fortification system of the old town Gradec. The Tower is Romanesque fortification object. In the 19th century the canon was placed on the top of the Tower, and it fires every day at noon since that time.
