This is a lovely home turned into a business. It is one of a handful of "converted to business structures" located along tree-lined Chester Avenue. With the exception of a few modern 60s homes, all of these contribute to the Moorestown H.D.

This is the home of Forrest cleaners, a mainstay of Moorestown since the 1880s. The second floor wrap around porch is the most attractive detail of this monster of a home.

Located at 221 Chester Avenue a few hundred feet or so from downtown Moorestown, this is one of 351 contributing buildings/structures to this historic district.

The Department of the Interior sent me the following narrative/information on this house:
"c.1900. 3-story, 3 register vernacular frame building, resided with aluminum. First floor commercial front, transomed shop windows, second floor balustraded porch. Altered windows. Slightly pitched gable roof. - Contributing.
