Milestone located along the Historic National Road U.S. 40, three miles west of Centerville, Indiana.

This is one of two remaining milestones for the National Road in Indiana. This milestone is located on the northside of U.S. 40. It is 13 miles west of the state line, 3 miles west of Centerville, and 6 miles east of Cambridge City.
The milestone is on private property however is easily seen from the road. There is an area to pull off the highway directly in front of the stone.
Note: I was not able to located the other milestone in Indiana a mile east of Centerville, it is currently in a construction zone so hopefully it was just removed for safe keeping during the construction.
