NGS Benchmark - Sioux 1978 - Bayfield County, Wisconsin - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This NGS benchmark is one of three benchmarks I found in this small park. This one -- Sioux 1978 -- has two other reference markers nearby stamped "Sioux No 1" and "Sioux No 2". They can be found in the small wayside which contains an historical marker about Madeline Island of the Apostle Islands. This wayside park is located about 3 miles north of Washburn, WI on State Highway 13.
