A marker, located on a greenway trail system, explaining the Willamette Meridian Line, which is a projected true N-S line from the Willamette Stone Initial Point. This line established part of the basis for which the townships the Pacific Northwest were originally surveyed and plated in the mid 1800's. The Willamette Base Line is the East-West line, that also originates at the Willamette Stone. The modestly interactive Meridian Marker is located on a public walkway that is part of Brown's Ferry Park.
