This memorial is in the centre of the village under an
oak tree.
The cross is in memory of a local man and his wife, the
inscription says
AD 1902 – OS NOSTRAQUE DEO – IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF – FREDERIC ROGERS, LORD BLACHFORD K.C.M.G. – AND OF HIS WIFE GEORGIANA MARY – HE SERVED HIS COUNTRY FAITHFULLY WITH 25 YEARS IN THE COLONIAL OFFICE.
