[EN] A spur slightly shrinks the Bièvre valley at the border between the suburbs of Arcueil and Cachan. Hydraulic engineers down through history have taken advantage of this to route their aqueducts across the valley.
Three supports near the former course of the Bièvre river as well as an arch discovered during a restoration campaign carried out at the end of the 1980's are all that remain of the gallo-roman aqueduct. The ruins are built into a wing of the former Renaissance chateau of Fief-des-Arcs.
