Wilderness Peak is the highest point on Cougar Mountain at 1,595 feet. Don't forget to sign the summit register. There is no view here due to being heavily forested, but maybe we can be glad that these second growth trees were left in peace after the old growth was logged. There are many trailheads and trails that lead to this peak. Probably the closest one is off Renton-Issaquah Rd. (Hwy 900) at N47°30.610 W122°05.235
