There is a $6 fee to get into Chatfield Park and to the first set of additional parking coordinates.
The coordinates posted are for the free parking at South Platte Park on the other side of C-470. To get there, you must be heading west on C-470. There is a small road leading to the north (not a formal exit!) then east at N39 34.058 W105 3.055. Take this road east until it ends. Then take the trail along the river that leads under the freeway.
The human restrooms close during the winter.
