This benchmark is located about 0.9 miles south of Lava Cast Forest Road along the old 1926 alignment of Hwy 97 about 40 feet east of the old centerline in roadcut. The cap was set in bedrock outcrop above road by the Oregon State Highway Department in 1929 and was stamped P315, 4376.888 feet.
